6 amazing vegan breakfast spots in Ubud, Bali

Seriously I travelled to Bali intending to do a cleanse and maybe enjoy durian a little bit. Little did I know I would end up being a kid in a candy store. I couldn't stop eating. But how can you when you end up in a vegan paradise? So instead of doing a watermelon fast as planned, I decided to enjoy my life to the fullest. I went completely crazy, and I would eat out up to 3 times a day for 30 days. Because why the hell not, enjoy yourself, everything's vegan here, so you don't even need to worry about annoying a poor waiter.

So I thought I would show you my favourite breakfast places In Ubud. I recommend them with all my heart, and I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

    • The Spell Creperie
The Spell Creperie: A fruit detox can wait, those dreamy crepes from The Spell Creperie cannot. They must have added cocaine to my first crepe because I kept crawling back there, drooling and begging for more. You know that sad little girl waiting at their entrance every day at 8:50 AM and annoying staff with "Are you open yet"? That was me 😀 I mean seriously would you look at those crepes? That's literally breakfast of my dreams.
The Spell Creperie: This one was called "The Secret". Check out that heavenly caramel sauce.
Acai Queen: This was literally the best acai bowl I've ever had. Toppings were on point (those raw vegan "Oreos" OMG!). Don't even get me started on those cute wooden pineapple bowls.
Juice Ja Cafe: Really loved that place and all items on the menu. They had great lunch options there but what I was always coming back there for was their awesome smoothie bowls. Loved their homemade granola and how they serve every dish.
Mudra Cafe: And the award for the most instaworthy smoothie bowl in Ubud goes to Mudra Cafe of course! They really know their topping game!
Atman Kafe: When in Bali, make sure you'll get a chance to try their traditional Balinese breakfast - bubur injin. It's a black rice pudding made with coconut milk and coconut syrup.
Atman Kafe: The best bubur injin I've tried.
Sayuri Healing Food: A very special place. A raw vegan paradise. They also have a few cooked options, like these amazing waffles with ice cream for example. Every item on the menu is absolutely spot on. I don't think you could have any disappointments there. If your time in Ubud is limited, make sure you put Sayuri on the top of your wishlist.
