Any rice flakes lovers here? They don't seem too popular here in the UK, but they are such a nice breakfast option in Poland, my home country! In Poland, we usually boil them plain with milk and a bit of salt or sugar, but what if I told you you can experiment with hundreds of different flavour combinations? Try turmeric coconut combo, it will work so well! I love turmeric. I try to add it to everything I can. Yes, even to my smoothies. Turmeric offers an impressive list of different health benefits. On top of that, it will make your food yellow and pretty. So just the amazing yellow colour itself will warm you up a little bit. And your solar plexus chakra will be very happy 😀
Toppings are optional, but I wouldn't skip them. Burying your porridge under a ton of white chocolate and banana flowers is always a lot of fun, isn't it? Wait until that chocolate melts…

Description
Such a nice porridge alternative.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flakes
- 1 very ripe banana (mashed)
- 2 tbsp creamed coconut
- 2 cups of almond or coconut milk
- 1/3 tsp himalayan salt
- toppings:
- banana slices
- strawberry slices
- millet puffs
- white chocolate pieces (optional)
Instructions
- Just combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook on a low light for 10 minutes.
- Sweeten to taste.
- I didn’t add anything as toppings will make it sweet enough.
- Toppings: as always, I’ll leave it to your imagination. I topped mine with strawberry and banana slices, millet puffs and white chocolate pieces.
