    Vegan mango turmeric smoothie bowl - easy breakfast recipe

    This ridiculously quick and easy to make mango turmeric smoothie bowl will definitely help you kick start your day. This smoothie bowl recipe comes together in just five minutes as it's made from just a few simple ingredients: frozen mango, frozen banana, turmeric powder and some coconut milk. It is such an easy, healthy and gluten-free breakfast option. I literally live off smoothie bowls in the summer season! Just that radiant yellow colour itself should definitely wake you up! When it comes to toppings, I'll leave it to your imagination: just go for your favourite fruit, nuts and granola! I topped my mango turmeric smoothie bowl with some fresh redcurrants, kiwi cubes, toasted coconut flakes and granola.

    I swear mango and turmeric is my favourite combo. This smoothie bowl is such a great start to the day. Toppings are optional, and I'll leave them to your imagination. But I wouldn't skip. We all know it's all about toppings, isn't it? I topped mine with some homemade granola, redcurrants, and kiwi cubes. Such a fun colour contrast, isn't it?

    This vibrant yellow will definitely give you a boost.


    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 2 frozen bananas
    • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • splash of coconut or almond milk

    Optional: add a date or two if you like your smoothie bowls extra sweet. 

    Toppings:

    • your favourite granola
    • coconut flakes
    • fruit of choice (as you can see I used fresh kiwi cut in cubes and fresh redcurrants).

    Instructions

    1. Pop all the ingredient's into a high-speed blender and blend until you get desired ice cream consistency. Serve topped with your favourite fruit pieces, toasted almond flakes and granola.
