Ingredients
- 8 cloves
- 3 star anise
- an inch piece of ginger
- 2 pieces of cassia (cinnamon bark)
- 1 orange sliced
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- zest of one clementine (freshly gratef)
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 2 cups grape juice
Instructions
- Add pomegranate and grape juice, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, grated clementine zest and finely chopped ginger to a large saucepan. Stir briefly to combine.
- Bring to boil and then reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for at least 10-15 minutes. Strain and serve hot.
