My favourite vegan spots in Canggu, Bali

After spending nearly a month in Ubud, Canggu definitely felt different. I guess I was expecting another Ubud, but the structure of the town was completely different. You won't be able to walk anywhere, as you can in Ubud. You will definitely need a scooter in Canggu or at least a bike (although can I just say that I haven't seen a single cyclist during my one-month stay in Bali). Or those distances will kill you 😀 I definitely didn't spend enough time in Canggu so I can't offer you any detailed "what to do" guide. I literally popped in for two nights and to meet @laurafruitfairy. If I had to decide on which town I preferred in Bali, I would definitely go for Ubud. But that doesn't mean I didn't like Canggu. If I ever come back to Bali, I'm going to give Canggu another chance.

So as I was saying, I was there only for two days. I wanted to show you those few lovely vegan-friendly places I managed to discover during my short stay.

Nalu Bowls: Right next to Dojo Bali. You must have heard about Nalu bowls before, those coco bowls are literally all over Instagram. This is a perfect spot for a late breakfast and it's a 5-minute walk from the beach as well. I went for a pink pitaya bowl. If you guys know me a little, you know I'm always crazy for that deep pink colour. This was a perfect breakfast bowl and the staff was super fun as well. We had a laugh. Don't forget to take a shot for Insta 😉
The Shady Shack: The coolest place I've been to in Canggu. Loved all vegan items on the menu. I went for that Cacao Dreams chocolate smoothie bowl.
The Shady Shack: They also make the coolest tempeh bowls there. Forgot what this one was called but would you just look at this beauty 😀
The Loft: I've seen people ordering really cool and instaworthy smoothie bowls in this place, but I was there in the late afternoon, so I went for this awesome tempeh bowl instead. Check out that roasted turmeric cauliflower. That bowl was insanely delicious. The only problem was that the portion was quite small, but you guys know me and my portion sizes. Next time I'll order two bowls 😀
The avocado factory: I got a bit lost on my way back from the beach and I accidentally stumbled upon this place. I loved the name so much, I couldn't say no to a little smoothie bowl. So basically the idea of this place is that all items on the menu must use avocado as the main ingredient. Can't think of a better cafe theme. That smoothie bowl was so amazingly creamy. I loved it!
