These healthy vegan pancakes are refined sugar-free as they are sweetened with stevia and a banana so you can enjoy them practically guilt-free, as often as you like! Description
Sweetened with banana and stevia. Practically guilt free π
Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cup spelt flour
- 1 and 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 very ripe banana (mashed)
- 1 tsp stevia powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 tsp Himalayan salt
- few drops of vanilla essence
- toppings:
- your favourite fruit
- yoghurt
- agave nectar or high-quality maple syrup
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, add mashed banana, apple cider vinegar, milk and vanilla essence. Mix well until you get pancake batter.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Fry ideally on a low light on a non-stick frying pan. Use a bit of coconut oil for frying if necessary.
- I use 1/4 cup measuring cup to measure perfect same sized pancakes.
- Flip when you see bubbles and fry for 1-2 more minutes. T
- op with your favourite fruit and a bit of maple syrup or coconut yogurt.
- Should make 10 pancakes.
